Jade Chan Flader, Creative Artist

Jade Flader recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Film Production with an emphasis in sound and a minor in Business Management at California State University, Northridge.

Although she was born in San Francisco California, Jade spent the first 21 years of her life growing up in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. While growing up, she found herself captivated and heavily involved with the eclectic artistic expressions of music, cinema, and dance. At the age of 19, Jade partook in the opportunity to recruit, manage and coordinate models for commercials and advertisement productions on a global scale as an international model casting director/ agent for D’ Casting House based in Kuala Lumpur.

Throughout her collegiate career, Jade has been able to translate her myriad of talents and experiences into the realm of film study and production. She has written/directed a total of six short-length films and has assisted in the creation of countless others. Just recently Jade was invited to become a member of the Women in Film Organization-Los Angeles Sector Her goal in life is to be able to make films that speak to social issues in the international community and give a voice to those who have not had the resources to tell their own story.
